Hyperemesis Gravidarum Awareness Month

May is Hyperemesis Gravidarum Awareness Month.
For up to 3% of people who are pregnant, nausea and vomiting are more than symptoms they experience in their first trimester. They’re a medical condition that can lead to dehydration, weight loss, and hospital visits.
At Option Care Women’s Health, our specialized nursing team supports patients with hyperemesis through in-home IV hydration, anti-emetic therapy, and nutritional support, so patients can focus on their pregnancy instead of managing symptoms alone.

National Sales Meeting
This week we celebrated ‘Powering Extraordinary Growth’ at our Option Care Health National Sales Meeting. Teams from across the country gathered to reconnect, share best practices, and align around our shared purpose of providing extraordinary care that changes lives. Everyone was inspired by powerful patient stories and energized by our One Team One Goal approach to supporting patients throughout their care journey.
We also came together to give back by building 50 bicycles for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Chicago, where children can earn a bike through accomplishments in their reading program. Grateful to have a team so passionate about supporting our communities and giving hope to our patients and their families.

Jill Rhodes named Recipient of 2025 Chicago CISO Leadership ORBIE Award

We’re thrilled to share that Jill Rhodes, Senior Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer, is the recipient of the 2025 Chicago CISO Leadership ORBIE Award. This elite peer nominated award recognizes an exceptional CISO who has a proven track record of successful IT security leadership throughout their career, made significant contributions to the advancement of cyber security, and inspired others through their personal, professional, and civic contributions.
We can’t think of anyone more deserving of this award than Jill. As our first CISO, Jill and her team built the information security program from inception focused on overall governance, strategy and policy; this includes initiatives such as the Ambassador Program, leading our business continuity planning, and leveraging tools and technology to further protect our organization. She and her team lead the enterprise-wide effort to keep our information and systems secure in support of our overall business focus – to provide extraordinary care for our patients. Jill’s commitment to education and training has led to the spread of a culture of security across the organization. Her focus on risk management and risk reduction has facilitated the secure growth of Option Care Health. Jill is also the Executive Sponsor for the Option Care Health Women’s Resource Group, as well as a mentor in our company program.
Prior to moving to the private sector, Jill spent 20 years working in and with the national security and intelligence communities of the Federal Government. She was also a Foreign Service Officer with the US Agency for International Development, stationed in Bolivia and Russia and worked extensively throughout Eastern and Southern Africa. When she is not focused on keeping our organization and patients safe, Jill is on the Board of Directors of Adelante Healthcare, a large community healthcare center based in Phoenix.

The American Society for Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN) has recognized Option Care Health with the Clinical Nutrition Team of Distinction Award for excellence in interdisciplinary clinical nutrition practice. This award recognizes nutrition teams that have demonstrated high achievement in meeting criteria for clinical excellence and compliance with ASPEN national standards, guidelines, and values. OCH demonstrates this commitment to excellence through quality improvement; policy and procedure that follows ASPEN Standards, Clinical Guidelines, and Practice Recommendations; interdisciplinary clinician involvement with nutrition support organizations including authoring articles, speaking at conferences, presenting research, and chapter and committee leadership activities; and ensuring certified nutrition support clinicians from multiple disciplines guide clinical practice.
